Dr Sampurno, MBA, was born in December 1950. Pharmaceutical industry is at his finger tips. After graduated from Universitas Gajah Mada as pharmacist, he was working in many pharmaceutical companies. From 1994-1996 he was working as Director of Research and Development at Perum BioFarma Bandung. He is very concerned with self improvement which is reflected in his success in finishing his MBA at IPPM, Jakarta and his doctoral at Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta. His education background has contributed to his career so that he was appointed as General Secretary at Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Indonesia from 1996-1998. He was then promoted as General Director of Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) from 1998-2001. At the same year, 2001, he was promoted as Head of BPOM. In order to keep his self improvement, he is back to campus in 2001 as lecturer at Pharmacy Department of Universitas Gajah Mada. He like sharing his experiences to anyone by writing some books in 2007

MOHAMAD BIN SANI
63 YEARS, COMMISSIONER


Mohamad bin Sani, Malaysian, obtained his B. Econs (Hons.) from the University of Malaya. He started his career in 1971 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. In 1972 he was placed as Second Secretary at the High Commission of Malaysia in London and in 1974 moved to Pakistan as Second Secretary at the Malaysian Embassy in Islamabad. In 1977 he returned to Kuala Lumpur as Assistant Secretary with the Administration and Finance Department of the Foreign Ministry and later moved to the ASEAN Department as Principal Assistant Secretary. In 1980 he was transferred to the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta as Counsellor and Head of Chancery. Returning to Kuala Lumpur in 1983, he was first attached to the Political Department as Principal Assistant Secretary (Southeast Asia-Indochina) and later moved to the Protocol and Consular Department as the Deputy Chief of Protocol. In 1986 he was posted as Deputy High Commissioner at the High Commission of Malaysia in Canberra, Australia and in 1989 moved to the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta as Minister and Deputy Head of Mission. He returned to Kuala Lumpur in 1991 as Deputy Director-General of ASEAN in the ASEAN Department. In 1994 he moved to Los Angeles as Consul-General of Malaysia until 1996 before moving to Port Moresby as High Commissioner of Malaysia with concurrent accreditation as High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. In 1999 he moved to Budapest as Malaysian Ambassador to Hungary, also accredited as Ambassador to Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia. He returned to Kuala Lumpur in 2003 upon his retirement from the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service. Among his awards are Member of the Victorian Order (MVO) Great Britain, Johan Setia Di-Raja (JSD) and Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN).

IZZAT BIN OTHMAN
Aged 50, Malaysian


Encik Izzat bin Othman is a lawyer by profession and is a partner of the law firm of Messrs. Azzat & Izzat. He graduated with an LLB (Hons) in April 1985 from University of Malaya. Subsequently, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor on 25 January 1986. He was formerly a director in AFFIN Securities Sdn Bhd and BH Insurance Berhad and has vast experience relating to litigation, conveyancing and corporate matters. He sits as Chairman and committee member for the Disciplinary Committee of the Malaysian Bar as well as Board of Directors for several private companies.

DATO' FARSHILA BINTI EMRAN
Aged 45, Malaysian


Dato' Farshila was appointed to the Board of Pharmaniaga Berhad on 25 March 2011. She has been made the Managing Director of the Company on 13 April 2011. She sits on the Board of Idaman Pharma Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and is an EXCO member of the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Organisation Board. She also sits as an advisory committee member for women in business under the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and is a member of the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia. She has vast experience in business development and was attached to SE VES Sediver France, a public listed company in France, which deals in high voltage transmission line equipment as Assistant Representative from 1990 to 1995 and subsequently was made a Representative until 2001. She holds a Diploma in Office Management from MARA University of Technology and Masters in Business Administration (C) from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

FAIZATUL AKMAR ABU BAKAR
Aged 44 years


Faizatul, 44, joined Pharmaniaga Berhad as the Chief Financial Officer on 1 April 2011. She holds a qualification as an Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Previously, she was attached to the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) prior to joining TIME in 1995. In January 2009, she was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of TIME.
